A two months ago, a good friend of my family gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named John. Last weekend, we finally got to go visit John and get some portraits. He was such a wonderfully behaved little man.
I don't think he liked the Santa hat too much!
Hmmm... maybe its not too bad after all!
Yes, we put him inside of his first Christmas stocking!
The sweetest picture of all, John getting a kiss from his mommy, Ashley
Lindsay emailed me a few weeks ago requesting pictures of her and her brother Kyle as a Christmas gift for their parents. We agreed to meet last Sunday in Lititz Springs Park. The day turned out to be absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for a day at the park.
When we first met Katie & Ryan we were a little unsure of their plans for a Halloween wedding. We had never done one before so we weren't sure what to expect. Will there be a haunted house feeling to the wedding? Will people be coming dressed in costume? Are there going to be ghosts, ghouls and goblins everywhere? They assured us that they were going to do a normal wedding, with just a few exceptions (like Katie's AMAZING dress).
Katie sneaking in some last-minute words to Ryan before he arrived at the restaurant where the ceremony and reception were held.
After a special reveal to each other, we followed the bride and groom, along with some of their family, over to Codorus State Park for some pictures.
These candlesticks were a surprise gift for Katie & Ryan. I love the dripping bleeding red candle wax all over!
I still can't believe that the rose and calla lilly are made of gum paste. That is the most perfect edible rose I have ever seen!
Congratulations Katie & Ryan! It was a pleasure to work with you!
Last Sunday we headed back up to Ski Roundtop for the wedding of Ashley & Kevin. We really enjoyed working with them (and their two doggies) for their engagement portraits last year.
Ashley really wanted an outdoor wedding, so when it was pouring for 3 days straight before her wedding, the prospects didn't look too good. At the last minute, things cleared up and Ashley got her wish! They clouds cleared up and brought a bright blue, sunny sky. Although it was a bit chilly, everything turned out beautifully!
