Heidi & Greg | Roaring Spring Family Photographer

Here we are again. The time of year has come (ok, technically the time has come and gone but, whatever) to photograph Heidi and Greg. We usually photograph this gorgeous family in the fall but this winter they added another member to their family, so they wanted to wait a few months before doing their yearly photo shoot.

We always adore getting together with this family and this year wasn't any different!

Abbie & Jeff | Lancaster Maternity Photographer

I've been friends with Abbie for a while. We met when we were planning our weddings so many years ago. We've been pretty good friends ever since so I was thrilled when she told me her and her husband Jeff were expecting their first child, and they wanted US to do their maternity pictures. I couldn't possibly say no (actually I'm pretty sure I squealed (you can verify that with Matt)).

The weather was great. It wasn't too hot, or to cold. We were really hoping for some awesome evening sun but sadly, Mother Nature didn't want to help us out on that (I'll take cloudy over rain or dreaded snow any day!). We took Abbie and Jeff to Lancaster County Park for some fun and yet casual pictures. It was a great time just getting to hang out and chat with them while we worked.

Thank you guys for an awesome day and we can't wait to meet Baby T!

Oops I did it again...

Now that I've got that song stuck in your head... (you're welcome ::insert evil laugh here::), I want to apologize for missing yet another week. This time, I don't really have a good excuse. Just life got in the way. But... it will give you more to look at right now so it all works out in the end right?

Krotzer Life Weeks 5 & 6

We were away last weekend and we were very busy during the week so I didn't get a chance to post our Krotzer Life overview... so I just put it in with this week's. Enjoy!

Allyson [Harrisburg Family Photographer]

Allyson is one year old. Really! We're not kidding! They grow up so fast don't they?

We just adore photographing this family. We've been following their journey since right after they got married. They're such a fun, carefree family and it shows!

Krotzer Life Week 1

Well, we successfully did one week of Krotzer Life. There were some days where we knew exactly what we wanted to take a picture of, some days where the picture just found us, and some days where we had to come up with something. In the end, we're excited to be down by one week. And we can't wait to see what happens for the next 51 weeks.

Here are the first week's photos:

Red Thread Sessions

We are so very excited to announce that we are officially part of Red Thread Sessions!

Red Thread Sessions is a fantastic organization that offers free portrait sessions to those who have adopted. This hits very close to home for us. Many of you know that Matt and I are currently in the process of adopting our first child so we felt like this was the best agency for us to volunteer for.

If you have adopted or know someone who has, send them to the Red Thread Sessions site and book a session with us through that site. We can't wait to get to know and work with the adoptive families in our area!
