Longwood Gardens 6.15.08

After we did Jen & Chris' engagement shoot my husband Matt and I stayed at Longwood Gardens to get in some flower shots. For those of you who don't know me very well, one of my passions is flower photography. I don't know why. I don't have a green thumb. I don't garden. I don't know all of the names of every flower out there but I just LOVE taking pictures of them, especially close up shots. Well, I couldn't go to Longwood and NOT take some time to enjoy the flowers.

A few weeks ago I bought another camera and Matt instantly became my second shooter. He's really starting to enjoy it (and doing a great job!) and I thought you would like to see some of his work from Longwood (and some of mine of course!)

Jen & Chris 6.15.08

We met up with Jen & Chris at Longwood Gardens today for their engagement pictures. It was a hot day but not too bad. We walked around as much of Longwood as we could before we had to go to the Terrace Restaurant for lunch. I think we all had such a great time getting to know each other!

Keep an eye out for pics from Jen & Chris' wedding in November!

Gen & Rick 6.14.08

Ahhh! Gen & Rick's day is finally here! We all prayed for good weather and for the most part we were given it. We started the day at Landis Woods Park for portraits of Rick and his groomsmen first, then Gen and her bridesmaids.

After the portraits we went over to the ceremony and reception site at Landis Valley Museum. The ceremony was beautiful and we started on family portraits right away. Just as we were done with the family portraits we rushed to get some bridal party pics done before the rain came. We finished JUST in time. It started to POUR right as we were finishing up!

Jumping for joy!

Thank you Gen & Rick for letting us share in your special day!

Naomi & Luke 5.31.08

Today was Naomi & Luke's wedding. We started out bright and early at Visage a Visage in Lancaster. Afterwards we went to Willow Valley where the ceremony and reception was held. It had just started raining when the guests were arriving and was in full downpour mode during the ceremony. After the ceremony we got some family portraits in the Church and we had hoped to go outside for some bridal part pictures but the rain just wouldn't cooperate. So we took some more indoor shots instead.

The reception was fantastic and the food was amazing! Everything was just perfect. We were lucky enough for the rain to stop and the sun to shining by the time the reception was over so we took the bridal party outside for some much needed fun in the sun!

Meg & Alex 5.24.08

Last weekend was Meg & Alex's wedding. I don't think they could have asked for a nicer day. The sun was shining and it was not too hot, not too cold. They got married at Lititz Moravian Church and the reception was at the new Casa di Fiori at Leola Village Inn & Suites in Leola. This was my first time there and it is just breathtaking!

Jen & Glenndon 5.4.08

Yesterday we met with Jen & Glenndon for their engagement pictures at Samuel S. Lewis State Park. We had a lot of fun getting to know these two and we can't wait to work with them for their wedding in Novemeber.
